Last Friday Featherpistol & Friends gathered at Mars Bar for a delicious evening of pole dance performance, free drinks, and raffle prizes. All this in the name of Local Charity!! It was such a new kind of magic!
All who came and supported the event were happy and smiling. In fact, I have a distinct moment that I remember fondly: I was stretching before my performance and I could hear everyone laughing and cracking jokes with my good friend, our MC. They were all having such a good time! It was such a thrill. My fellow dancer Jessica and I performed some of our favorite songs and the crowd loved it!
All THIS, and we raised a healthy sum for La Casa de Las Madres (http://www.lacasa.org), a local SF charity that supports women and children who have suffered from domestic violence. So apropo! Such good feelings to know that all this fun was going towards a good cause.
